What should I bring?

Below is a list of suggestions that may be helpful to you as you are planning your trip.  Keep in mind, Seguin is only 4 miles away and has an HEB, WALMART, Home Depot and many other stores should you forget anything.

Do the kitchens have everything I need to cook a meal?

Yes, our kitchens are stocked with all kitchen necessities you would need to make your meals. If you require any necessary kitchen gadgets that you are unsure we have, please bring them with you or please ask us if you forget anything.

Can we use the recroom and hot tub anytime during our stay?

The recroom and hot tub are available for our guests between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. You are welcome to utilize these areas during these times. 

Can we use the kayaks and paddles and the rope swing at the Retreat?

Yes! Our guests are encouraged to utilize the kayaks and paddles provided and the rope swing during their stay. Please note that our creek is SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK AND NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. We ask that you use our provided lifejackets or bring your own if you will be paddling in our creek. Please do not take our kayaks or paddles off site.  Please remember, 

Can we use the firepits and picnic areas located around the property?

Yes, you are welcome to use any of the firepits and and picnic areas located at Geronimo Creek Retreat. Please ensure all fires are extinguished after each use and monitor any flammable items or young children near open flames. 

Does the Retreat have WIFI?

Yes! You will be e-mailed the password before arrival.  Please do not hesitate in contacting us if you have any issues or need anything during your stay.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, with a $75 non-refundable pet deposit. Pets must be well behaved, quiet, & non-threatening. Pets' must be kenneled when indoors and on a leash when outdoors.

Are there life-guards on duty?

There are no life guards on duty,  no fence or barrier restricting persons from entering the water and no depth signs. Under water hazards may exist and swimming is at your own risk. Renter is responsible for the safety and well-being of all guests and is responsible for keeping a close watch on all swimmers as well as non-swimmers or persons who may enter or accidentally enter the water. Should the Renter/Responsible party be absent from the Property for any length of time, it is his/her duty to designate another person within his/her party for this responsibility. 

Is there a check-in office onsite?

No, each vacation rental unit has a key pad.  You will be e-mailed access instructions as well as instructions to download our hassle free check -in app.  The access code will be e-mailed to you as well as be available on the check-in app at 9:00 AM on the day of your arrival.  Our office, maintenance man and cleaning manager live near by should you need anything during your stay.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in: 3:30 PM - Check-out: 11:00 AM

Are the cabins wheel chair accessible?

The are not.  Being built close to the creek, we had to build them high in the air to keep them out of the flood plane.  

Does the property flood?

The Geronimo Creek is beautiful natural attractions, but is subject to occasional wet-weather flooding during heavy rains. The living areas of the Unit are built above the flood-way though the parking way may not be. For your safety, you may be asked to evacuate the Property if there are impending flood watches or warnings in the area. We monitor this situation closely and will give as much notice as possible to you if this situation becomes a reality and ask that you help us in monitoring the situation. Obviously, this occurrence is rare and will not likely affect your stay.
